Day 1- we're here!
After a rocky start at Heathrow when we were told our flight was overbooked and we might not have a seat, we made it to Delhi on time and even got an upgrade from World Traveller to World Traveller Plus- made all the difference :) Our airport pick up didn't arrive so we worked out the taxi system and got to our hostel absolutely fine. Our hostel is basic but cleanish. We've been for a wander today to find our bearings but Delhi is SO big we've hardly scratched the surface. We getting used to ignoring 'helpful' people but are getting stared at quite a lot!We're with an organisation called Asha tomorrow in one of the slums, then one more day in Delhi and onto Agra where we'll try to write again.
Mums and dads- don't worry we're doing fine! :)
